The Macbook Pro provides a longer battery life and has more storage space, however you can get the same 13″ screen size on the MacBook Air that you'd get on the Macbook Pro, but you'll lose some battery life in return (about an hour and a half less).

This means that if your priority is a small, portable device that you won't be taking very far away from an outlet, you should opt for the MacBook Air.

However, if you need a laptop that you can use for many hours without recharging, or if you want to install more than a few programs on your computer, the Macbook Pro may be the better choice.

Interestingly, although the Macbook Pro does have a longer battery life than the MacBook Air, it doesn't have an ethernet port like its smaller counterpart does.

Also, although both laptops have a 13″ screen size and weigh around the same amount (3 lbs.), the MacBook Air is significantly thinner than the Macbook Pro. With options like these available from Apple, it's no wonder they're considered to be some of the best laptops out there.
